These instructions apply to any email client other than the Webmail client, e.g.
o Outlook
o Thunderbird
o Email client on a smartphone
o Email client built into an IoT device, such as a copier or fax machine
Printers and specific applications sometimes still might not be able to connect or send
emails - mostly due to firmware that doesn't support SSL encryption (or only supports
outdated SSL implementations). Please contact your vendor for a firmware update.
To receive email:
o Use "mail.digitaltowpath.org" as the name of the server
o Use port "993" (IMAP with SSL)
o Use your own userid and password for authentication
To send email:
o Use "mail.digitaltowpath.org" as the name of the server
o Use port "465" (SMTP with SSL)
o Use your own userid and password for authentication
